Royal Academy of Arts Charles I: King and Collector
Exhibition graphics and interpretation design Gallery guide
Exhibition graphics for the major RA show ‘Charles I: King and Collector’.
Our brief was to create an exhibition style that was elegant and regal – strong enough to not be overpowered by the large gallery spaces and bold wall colours, but sympathetic to the artwork and period. For the 4x4 metre entrance, we utilised a sketched portrait of Charles I by Van Dyck to create a striking visual starting point to the exhibition.
